TEMPE, Ariz. –
Andy Hogue has been appointed the Intercollegiate Tennis Association’s Coordinator of New Media and Marketing. Hogue began his duties with the ITA on July 1.

“On behalf of the Intercollegiate Tennis Association, we are excited to welcome Andy to the #TeamITA staff,” said ITA Chief Executive Officer Timothy Russell. “Andy will play an integral role in our initiative to tell the stories of college tennis, as well as continuing the mission of enhancing and strengthening the ITA brand.”

In his role as Coordinator of New Media and Marketing, Hogue will manage the ITA’s social media channels, design the marketing materials for ITA events, serve as an ITA photographer and assist with the development of the ITA branding and marketing strategy.

“Andy’s talents and passion for the industry are evident from the moment you meet him, and I’m thrilled to have him join our staff,” said ITA Director of Communications and Marketing Dan Johnson. “I look forward to working alongside Andy as we create captivating content that highlights the great accomplishments of our coaches and student-athletes.”

Hogue graduated from the University of Virginia in 2016 with a degree in Statistics. While at Virginia, Hogue aided the athletics media relations staff at football and basketball games.

Prior to joining the ITA, Hogue received his Master’s in Sport Leadership from Virginia Commonwealth University. While at VCU, he worked as a graduate assistant for VCU Athletics Communications and served as the main media contact for the VCU Track and Field team. He also aided the VCU Center for Sport Leadership with the creation of social media graphics and marketing materials.
