SKILLMAN, NJ (July 9) - Nine sites hosted summer tennis action over the last week for the 2014 ITA Summer Circuit, presented by the USTA. Highlights of the past week's action include multiple winners, finalists and tight matches.

Back-to-back finals for Goodwin

Soon to be high school senior Johnny Goodwin cruised to his second final in as many weeks, but came out on the losing end at Wichita State. Goodwin fell to former Cowley College and Fresno Pacific standout Lloyd Bruce-Burgess 3-6, 6-1, 10-2. Bruce-Burgess, an ITA All-American, finished the 2010 season as the No. 3 ranked player in the ITA Junior/Community College National Men's Singles Rankings.

Two for one

Four players earned singles and doubles championships at circuit events. Alexis Nelson, Adam Ambrozy, Jason Kros and Bruce-Burgess captured two titles over the weekend at Minnesota, Pittsburgh, San Jose State and Wichita State, respectively.
