SKILLMAN, NJ (July 16) - The 2014 ITA Summer Circuit, presented by the USTA made its way to seven sites last weekend, with some new faces claiming glory in the hot, summer sun. Highlights of the past week's action include stories of repeated success.

Trio of double champions

After a singles semifinal and doubles final at Laguna Niguel last week, UCLA sophomore Gage Brymerprevailed in both singles and doubles at La Verne, needing a tiebreak in both matches. Brymer is coming off an extremely successful freshman campaign, where he finished No. 69 in the ITA Division I National Men's Singles Rankings, the sixth highest of any freshman.

Fellow sophomore Kassidy Jump also finished her weekend with two titles in hand, earning both crowns at UC Davis. The Arizona State Sun Devil registered a 17-10 singles record, a 16-10 doubles record and won the Pac-12 Invitational Doubles title during her freshman year.

At Wellesley, Aaron Revzin was the tournament's biggest winner, capturing both titles at the circuit event. Revzin was a sophomore member of the NCAA Team Champion Amherst Jeffs, playing doubles in the championship match against Claremont-Mudd-Scripps.

Sustained success for Schorsch

Valparaiso's Jeffrey Schorsch was the only player to win a title in consecutive weeks, taking a singles title in Western Michigan one week removed from his doubles title in Purdue. In his freshman season as a Crusader, Schorsch made a serious impression by recording a 27-10 singles record while playing primarily first singles. He also went 21-1 in dual match doubles play with Charlie Emhardt, whom he paired with in Purdue last week.
