The women's Top 8 remains unchanged from last week, with No. 1 USC holding a slight lead over No. 2 North Carolina for the third straight week. The Trojans won two road contests against ranked Pac-12 foes in Arizona and Arizona State this week while the Tar Heels defeated No. 17 Miami in Coral Gables in ACC play.
In the SEC, No. 8 Vanderbilt picked up a Top 10 win for the second straight week, toppling No. 6 Florida 4-1 in the Commodores' home finale. Vanderbilt will carry a 21-match home win streak into next season.
No. 15 Texas Tech entered into a tie atop the Big 12 standings this week, scoring a road upset over No. 7 Baylor. The Red Raiders, who have won three straight matches against Baylor, No. 9 Oklahoma State and No. 29 Oklahoma, are now 5-1 in conference play and handed Baylor its first conference loss this season.
No. 30 Rice and No. 31 Notre Dame each saw a nice rankings boost this week after picking up valuable road wins. Rice beat Utah and BYU to improve from No. 45, while the Fighting Irish's road wins over Virginia Tech and Wake Forest gave them a nine-spot boost.
On the men's side, Oklahoma, Baylor, Illinois and Virginia held steady as the Top 4, with USC shuffling up to the No. 5 spot after recording its fourth and fifth consecutive wins over the weekend. The SEC landed seven teams in the Top 25, leading all conferences, and the Big 12 saw all six schools earn Top 25 honors for the second time this season.
Tulane climbed to its highest ranking of the season at No. 39, besting its previous mark of No. 51. The Green Wave shot upward 15 spots after a strong conference win over No. 20 Tulsa, their second straight ranked win.
Tulane's surge was second to only Old Dominion's, which also earned its highest ranking of the 2014-15 season at No. 48. The Monarchs jumped 22 spots after avenging a loss to No. 66 South Alabama and posting a win over UAB to improve to 14-2 this season.
Topping the ITA National Singles Rankings are UCLA's Robin Anderson and Baylor's Julian Lenz. Lenz reclaimed the spot he started the season with in September, while Anderson topped the charts for the second straight time. Georgia's Austin Smith and Ben Wagland earned the top spot in the men's doubles rankings for the second consecutive edition, while Stanford's Carol Zhao and Taylor Davidson garnered the top ranking for the first time this year.
