SKILLMAN, NJ – There’s a new No. 1 team in the nation, and they reside in Columbus, Ohio, as the Buckeyes of Ohio State leapt over previous No. 1 California this week as Oracle and the Intercollegiate Tennis Association announced the updated Oracle/ITA Collegiate Tennis Rankings for Division I women on Tuesday.

Joining the Top 10 this week is LSU, which moved up three spots from No. 12 last week.

Buckeyes Barge To The Top Of The Rankings
Ohio State improved its record to 12-1 on the season with wins over then-No. 24 Arizona State (6-1) on Feb. 28, and a 7-0 win over Penn State in its Big Ten opener on Feb. 26. The Buckeyes’ only loss this season came at the hands of the Golden Bears in the semifinals of the 2016 ITA Division I National Women’s Team Indoor Championship.
