(1) Duke, (2) San Diego State, (3) North Carolina, (4) Oregon

Duke (No. 17) saw success at the bottom half of its singles lineup in fall competition, with three players churning out double-digit win totals. The Blue Devils have four Top 100 singles players, as all six singles players are returners from last season.

ACC rival North Carolina (No. 42) is the next highest ranked team in this group, thanks to superb fall performances by sophomore Brett Clark (No. 36) and freshman Ronnie Schneider (No. 17). Clark made the USTA/ITA Carolina Regional singles final and won a round at the USTA/ITA National Indoor Intercollegiate Championships, while Schneider won two matches at the Saint Francis Health System ITA Men’s All-American Championships.

Thorsten Bertsch (No. 69) is San Diego State’s (No. 50) top threat, while No. 54 Oregon is also strong at the top with returner Robin Cambier and newcomer Kevin Farin. The duo went 8-1 in fall action. The Ducks will be making their first appearance in an ITA Kick-Off Weekend.
