(1) Northwestern, (2) Notre Dame, (3) Arizona State, (4) Oklahoma State

Host Northwestern (No. 15) upset the No. 7 seeded Alabama in the first round of the National Team Indoors in 2013 and they’ll try to return in 2014 to better that run. They are led by returning top player Veronica Corning and No. 105 Belinda Niu, who both had 7-3 fall seasons. Corning and Alicia Barnett are the No. 35 ranked doubles team following their 7-2 fall.

Second seed Notre Dame (No. 21) brings two ranked doubles teams to the competition in No. 26 Jennifer Kellner and Monica Robinson plus No. 30 Quinn Gleason (also ranked No. 67 in singles) with partner Britney Sanders. Arizona State (No. 26) returns its top three from 2012-2013, including No. 91 Desirae Krawczyk.

No. 29 Oklahoma State has newcomer Kanyapat Narattana (No. 59) to help boost its chances this spring, and she won the singles title at the USTA/ITA Central Regional Championships. The Cowboys’ top three players combined for 30 wins last fall.
