No. 17 Texas led by its top player, Breaunna Addison (No. 22), will look to return to the National Indoor Championships. Addison was the only player to defeat No. 2 Jamie Loeb so far in the Tar Heels’ collegiate career, and she and partner Pippa Horn were doubles winners at the USTA/ITA Texas Regional Championships and are ranked No. 21. FreshmanRatnika Batra ranks 77th in the women's singles rankings.

Auburn (No. 23) will be a tough opponent for the Longhorns, as the Tigers had a great fall season after only losing one starter from its 2012-2013 squad. Pleun Burgmans (No. 12) swept the USTA/ITA Southern Regional Championships titles, winning singles plus thedoubles with partner Emily Flickinger. The duo is ranked No. 17 in the ITADoubles Rankings. Rice (No. 22) and Florida State (No. 24) both return their top four players from last season.
